ABOUT ME

Sophie Houghton

Accredited Practising Dietitian & Nutritionist

Sophie has always been passionate about helping others find the happiest and healthiest version of themselves. Her journey began as a personal trainer whilst she pursed her studies in nutrition and dietetics. Sophie has always been involved in competitive sport.

Upon completing her education, Sophie merged her twin loves of sports and nutrition. Currently serving as the Performance Dietitian for the VFL Sandringham Zebras, the VFLW Southern Saints and St Kilda Football Clubs Next Generation Academy. She has always been involved in competitive sport herself, growing up she played basketball and competed in high-level figure skating. Currently she enjoys long-distance running, and is training for a sub 3 hour marathon!

Apart from sports nutrition, Sophie loves assisting her clients in weight management, enhancing overall health and well-being, and managing chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension.

On weekends, you’ll find Sophie whipping up a Paella for friends and family (food is more than just nourishment - it’s her love language!), or you’ll find her pounding the payment with her run club (@bayside.collective on Insta!)
